Olmstead Investments Launches First HomeVestors Franchise in 

Northern Lower Michigan to Help Distressed Homeowners

HomeVestors, America’s number one home buyer, known to many as the We Buy Ugly Houses® company, has added its first HomeVestors® franchise in Northern Lower Michigan. Recognized recently as the third-fastest growing franchise in the country, HomeVestors has welcomed locally owned and operated Olmstead Investments as its newest and first franchise in the area.

After nearly two decades in the insurance industry, Michigan native Jeff Olmstead has returned to invest in real estate as a HomeVestors franchise. The local We Buy Ugly Houses franchise is licensed to operate in 25 Michigan counties from Mason to the east and north and extending to three counties in the Upper Peninsula. 

“Northern Lower Michigan has a need for affordable housing, and HomeVestors stood out as a model that could help address it,” said Olmstead. “There are many people working diligently to increase the availability of affordable housing, but HomeVestors is a resource that has not yet been utilized to do this in Northern Lower Michigan.
